The Grenoble Commercial Court, which was to decide the fate of Go Sport (as reported by SGI Europe earlier), appointed an investigating judge and postponed the inspection of files until Jan. 16, 2023. The decision of the commercial court of Grenoble to put the verdict on hold is “a message of vigilance but also of confidence, which calls for the mobilization of all actors to save the company,” underlines the public prosecutor’s office, at the origin of its assignment in receivership after economic alerts received by the auditors and the central social and economic committee (CSEC) of Go Sport.
According to 20 Minutes, Hermione People and Brands (HPB), the parent company of Go Sport, welcomed the decision of the commercial court on Wednesday, which “confirms that there is no urgency in the financial situation of Go Sport,” a position that its leaders had defended during the first hearing on Dec. 19.
