Goldwin, which has been offering its highly technical skiwear mainly outside Japan, has recently expanded the product range of its C3fit brand of functional apparel. Goldwin will launch an autumn/winter and spring/summer collection for the brand and cover various sports. The logo with the C3's remains, as it is well known in the running sector. For its latest collection, Goldwin has developed new core products, with new materials. All of its apparel is manufactured in China and Vietnam, but its compression socks are made in Japan. Goldwin also controls The North Face's trademark in Japan and South Korea. The group distributes or licenses other brands – such as Helly Hansen, Canterbury, Danskin and Ellesse, Speedo, Fischer, Icebreaker and Macpac – in its domestic market. Some TNF stores in Japan offer Goldwin apparel on the side. The group expanded its operations a few months ago by taking a stake in Woolrich International, with which it was collaborating on the Japanese market.
