Growing the fitness sector through innovation will be the topic of the third European Health and Fitness Forum, which will be held in Cologne in April just ahead of Fibo, the international trade fair for the fitness industry. The forum is organized by Fibo and Europe Active, the former European Health and Fitness Association. While Fibo is taking place on April 7-10, the forum will be held on April 6. Among the speakers announced by the organizers is Carl C. Rohde, a cultural sociologist who will focus on future forecasting and fitness innovations. Antonio Dávila, professor of entrepreneurship, and accounting and control at the IESE Business School in Barcelona, will address ways to create, manage, measure and profit from innovation. Karsten Hollasch will present current market studies by Europe Active and Deloitte, outlining facts and figures about the European fitness market. About 400 key players and industry experts are expected to attend. The event's two previous editions were sold out.
