Porsche | Head W Series

To mark the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Turbo, Head and Porsche have teamed up to create three exclusive skis and a complete collection of sportswear and accessories, including two Mips helmets and a pair of ski goggles, influenced by the rich history of five decades of 911 Turbo and eight generations of Porsche 911.

Since its debut, the 911 Turbo has distinguished itself through its unique design and exceptional performance. Head and Porsche have now created three ski models inspired by the tartan pattern of the first Turbo generation. The motto is “Collaborate to accelerate.”

The timeless design of the silver Porsche | Head 8 Series is based on the very first Turbo from 1974, which was built exclusively for Ferdinand Porsche’s daughter Louise Piëch for her 70th birthday on Aug. 29 as a one-off. Its counterpart, the black Porsche | Head 7 Series with light green design elements, commemorates the first series-produced Turbo and its world premiere in Paris on Oct. 3, 1974. The ski collection is rounded off by the Porsche | Head W Series for women, in which the tartan pattern in black, blue and red is particularly striking. Each ski and binding set also comes with an exclusive ski bag, fashionable sportswear and a selection of accessories.
