Head has launched the Head Tennis Racquet Finder, a web tool that allows tennis enthusiasts to find the racquet, among those proposed by the brand, that best suits their specific needs. The tool relies on an algorithm, developed by Head, which uses the brand's database of performance racquets to calculate a match percentage for each person's racquet based on elements such as age, gender, common errors, experience level and technique preferences. The racquet finder also relies on IBM Watson technology, which helps discover the most relevant results from this analysis. The Watson Tradeoff Analytics API allows the tool to present the top three recommended racquets, helping users to make more informed purchase decisions. Watson's evaluations of the racquets include parameters like weight, string pattern, head size or beam height.
