Heinz Hackl has been appointed as management board member in charge of sales at Willy Bogner, the Germany skiwear company. He was previously chief executive at René Lezard, where he managed a financial restructuring plan, after other leadership positions at Marc O'Polo and Joop! Hackl started at Bogner earlier this month to take charge of sales as well as retailing and licenses. He takes over from Christian Ender, who left the company earlier this month. Ender was among several departures that started with the sudden exit of the group's chief executive, Alexander Wirth, who left in November after about one year in the job. After Wirth's departure, the chief executive's seat at Bogner was taken over by Andreas Baumgärtner, who was previously in charge of marketing. Bogner then had to replace its supervisory board chairman and another board member. Ender left the company a few weeks later along with Jon Jarlgaard, who was in charge of operations. The company said at the time that it would replace Ender but not Jarlgaard, meaning that the management board is complete again. It consists of Baumgärtner, who supervises design and marketing, along with Hackl and Marcus Breyer for finance and IT.
