Held on Oct. 10-13, the first free-standing Asia Bike trade show in Nanjing was apparently more successful than its two previous editions, when it was held at the same time as Asia Outdoor at the end of July. The timing was an important factor. The number of exhibiting brands was up by 65.5 percent to 394, occupying 26,000 square meters indoor and 10,000 square meters outdoor, and 80 percent of them came from outside China. A total of 7,062 trade visitors attended the show, coming also from remote provinces of China, and 4,654 consumers participated in the demo day on Oct. 9. The next Asia Bike fair is scheduled for Oct. 9-12, 2014, with a public demo day on Oct. 8.
