Hervis Sport reported a 5.2 percent sales increase to €520 million last year. In particular, its sales in the domestic Austrian market increased by 6.5 percent to about €315 million, indicating a significant gain in market share. The balance of the turnover came from Hervis' stores in Germany, Slovenia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Romania. The company opened ten new stores in the past year, building to a total of 210. It plans to add five or six more stores in Austria and six in Romania this year. Hervis is also rolling out new services such as a “Body Lab” for boot fitting. It has started delivering rental skis to customers directly at their hotels in 14 Austrian resorts.
