Hervis Sports, the large price-driven retail chain from Austria, opened its second store in Germany on Oct. 27. Two years after the first one in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the foot of the Alps, the choice fell this time on Nuremberg. The outlet has a selling surface of 1,030 square meters and employs 20 people. In Nuremberg, Hervis will explore opportunities in multi-channel retailing through click & collect. Customers can purchase at home through the web and collect in the store, but they can also order in the store itself, via tablet computers, and have the items shipped to their homes.
