Higher sales of Dunlop tennis products and XXIO 10 golf clubs, combined with improvements at Srixon and Cleveland Golf, helped Sumitomo Rubber's sports division to record better results in the U.S. and Europe in the first nine months of this year. The division's global sales went up by 10 percent to 64.6 billion yen (€501.4m-$574.3m), and its operating income jumped by 60 percent to ¥4.82 billion (€37.4m-$42.9m).
