Hyperice Inc. has teamed up with the video-gamer and NFL wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to deliver its sports-recovery gear to elite e-sports athletes. The company's “Move” initiative, developed in partnership with Foundry IV, aims to alleviate the physical strains of video-gaming for more than 50 hours a week, which has led some gamers to retire as early as age 22. Hyperice says it believes that Smith-Schuster's competitiveness on real and virtual fields makes him the perfect ambassador for the application of its therapeutic vibrating devices for sore lower backs and repetitive motion injuries.
