Icelantic, the American producer of original skis, snowboards and accessories, is setting up a European office in the Swiss town of Malans. The company's new Icelantic Europe subsidiary is run by Rico Dürst, a Swiss marketing consultant who has worked for Trisport, Storm Sports and Outline Sports. He will be assisted by Melanie Cola, in charge of marketing, sales and customer service. The new office will directly handle the German-speaking countries and supervise distributors in other parts of Europe. Icelantic products are designed by an American artist, Travis Parr, who co-founded the company in 2006 in Denver, Colorado.
