Icon Health & Fitness filed last month a lawsuit against a rival company, Keys Fitness, and its subsidiary Keys Backyard LP, alleging that Keys infringed on its patent for home exercise devices. The complaint also claims that Keys is infringing on Icon’s Weslo trademark for items like exercise machines, skateboards and trampolines as well as its Image trademark for exercise machines. While these two American fitness companies duke it out in court, another company based in the USA, Fitness Quest, has filed a lawsuit against Dream Fitness and Ross Fitness for trademark infringement.
