In a preliminary statement, Go Sport reports a 5 percent decline in total revenues for 2013, down to €641.9 million. They fell by 4.6 percent on a comparable store basis across the French-based retail group, with a drop of 7.2 percent for the generalist Go Sport banner in France and a 2.3 percent increase for its athletic footwear chain, Courir. However, the Go Sport chain's sales fell by only 5.7 percent in the fourth quarter, after declining by 12.3 percent in the second quarter and by 11.0 percent in the third one. In Poland, Go Sport's sales were nearly stable, with a drop of only 0.7 percent to €52.3 million. The final results will be released next month. The group, which ended the year with 334 stores including franchises in the Middle East and other parts of the world, says it wants to reinforce its partnership with the international brands.
