The inaugural edition of Padel Expo Sweden, held on Sep. 16-18 in Stockholm, drew 3,300 visitors (exhibitors excluded), Anton Erlandsson has told CMDsport. This is less than expected for Erlandsson, who heads up Event, organizer of this event and of Padel Expo Roma, scheduled for Jan. 20-22. The target was 4,000 to 5,000. He was expecting more B2C traffic as well. B2B attendance was good.

A survey of exhibitor opinion is still underway, but during the event “the majority were very happy with attendance on Friday,” he said. “We managed to draw visitors from more than 40 countries.”

“Our exhibitors,” he continued, “had very good stands and good offers. As for the activities, I’d say that the racquet-testing station […], like the competitions and the courts themselves, were the most popular things” at the show.

No dates have been set for the next Swedish show.
