Inov-8 has been announced as the official footwear brand of the 2018 Obstacle Course Racing World Championships (OCRWC), the independent championship event in obstacle course racing created by Adventurey. Inov-8 is best known for paying special attention to the grip of its footwear, for off-road running and CrossFit. Its shoes have been worn by various elite athletes of obstacle course racing for the past decade, who may run on wet, slippery and muddy terrain. The brand's X-Talon shoe has been worn by winners of previous editions of the race. In 2018, Inov-8 is launching the G-Series, the first running and fitness shoes with graphene-enhanced rubber, which are expected to give racers an even enhanced grip. Last year's edition of the OCRWC attracted more than 4,000 athletes from 67 nations. In 2018, the race will be held for the first time in the event's history in the U.K., where Inov-8 is based. As part of the new partnership between the footwear brand and OCRWC, obstacle course racers are now eligible, with a code, for 10 percent off all inov-8 shoes on its website.
