Interbike, the premier bicycle trade show in North America, will allow select consumers to attend the event for the first time in its history. Under a new program, called Interbike by Invitation, registered retailers will be able to invite some of their best and most loyal customers to visit the show, but they will not be allowed to sell products to them. Only a limited number of consumers will be admitted, and they will have to pay $50 to get in. For this purpose, the fair will close two hours later than usual on the last day, Friday, Sept. 30, 2013.
