Interbike, the U.S. bicycle trade show, is offering a new turnkey booth section at the fair for European brands seeking to enter the U.S. market. The EU@Interbike section will accommodate up to 20 brands at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas in September. The organizers said that the recent currency shifts were making it all the more attractive for European brands to invest in North American markets, while U.S. distributors are actively looking to replace business lost from large component suppliers. The turnkey area is to feature in a new product zone and should enable European companies to participate at a lower cost than traditional tradeshow booths. The candidates should be new exhibitors at Interbike, have their head office in Europe and be ready to sell into the North American market in 2016. Interbike is scheduled to start with its Outdoor Demo on Sept. 14-15 in Boulder City and then the Interbike Expo for the next three days.
