Intersport Germany has won the creativity award of ZGV, the country's federation of buying groups and cooperatives. ZGV awarded the buying and franchising group because of its initiatives for better quality, service, advice and a reasonable value-for-money ratio. Intersport won over two other nominees, Garant Möbel and Noweda, which are cooperatives of furniture retailers and drugstores, respectively. ZGV is the umbrella organization for 320 cooperatives representing no less than 230,000 small and medium-sized companies in Germany.
