Intersport opened its first fitness park in Germany on June, 28. The German voluntary group opened it in Kiel in cooperation with Intersport Knudsen, the group's local retail partner, and with Puma and the city of Kiel. Other sponsors and partners are AOK NordWest, the German insurance company, and Kompan, a marketer of playground equipment. People can use the fitness park free of charge. The park offers the possibility to do street workout training, cross-training and circuit training. Intersport Germany plans to expand this project to other German cities in the near future.
