Intersport PSC, the Swiss licensee of Intersport International, says its net profit will decline slightly this year because of the strong appreciation of the Swiss franc against the euro, which has been affecting sales to foreign tourists. The problems started in border areas in the spring and they have been spilling over to sporting goods stores all over the country. According to press reports, many Swiss residents have been buying all kinds of products across the border.
