Ironman and L’Equipe Group have announced a new broadcast partnership that will see L’Equipe provide live coverage in France for 12 Ironman races in 2023. These will include both the men’s and women’s editions of the VinFast Ironman World Championship triathlon in Nice, France – the first time since the inception of the Ironman World Championship race that the event will take place in Europe – and Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. L’Equipe will broadcast events across its TV channel La Chaîne L’Equipe and the digital platform L’Equipe Live. L’Équipe group includes press titles (the L’Équipe newspaper and magazine, France Football, Vélo Magazine), the L’Équipe platform and the free TV channel L’Équipe. L’Équipe group is part of the Amaury group, whose wholly-owned subsidiary Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) organizes the Tour de France and other major sports events around the world.
