Italy's Macron has become the new technical sponsor of K.K. Split, an important Croatian basketball team, for three years starting with the current season. It is taking the place of a Bosnian firm, XBGT, which took over the role from Jako two years ago. Nike, Playlife, Reebok and And 1 were among the team's previous sponsors. Macron has also announced a four-year sponsorship contract with FC Thun, a 120-year-old Swiss football team playing in the Super League, starting with the 2019/20 season.
