Jack Wolfskin reports a significant 22.5 percent increase in turnover to €355 million for the past financial year, with positive trends in all product categories and sale channels. In particular, footwear sales went up by 35 percent. Growth was similarly high in Europe, outside the domestic German market. Sales in Asia more than doubled. The brand claims the fourth position in the outdoor market in China, where the number of franchised stores is comparable to the 300-odd doors that it has in Europe (more in The Outdoor Industry Compass).
