Jean-Philippe Torgue has joined Fusalp as managing director in charge of international operations. The appointment is part of the French skiwear company's plans to expand abroad, with an initial focus on countries inside and around the Alps: Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Germany. At a later stage, Fusalp will seek to set up partnerships in Scandinavia, the Benelux region, the U.K. and Russia. Torgue will be based in Annecy. He previously worked for the Swiss brand Switcher, after spending 12 years with VF Corporation holding executive roles in its jeanswear and international outdoor divisions.
