Johnson Outdoors turned around to a net profit of $1,167,000 in its fourth quarter ended Oct. 2 from a loss of $876,000 in the year-ago period. Sales increased by one percent to $85.7 million in the seasonally slow period, but they were flat at $47.6 million in outdoor and fell by 9 percent to $72.1 million in diving. Sales went up by one percent also for the full financial year, reaching $430.5 million, and they generated a 16 percent higher net income of $10,616,000.
