Joma Sport has become the official sponsor of the Olympic Committee of Portugal (COP). The deal signed between the Spanish sports company and the Olympic and Paralympic committees earlier this month runs until 2020, including the Rio Games next year as well as the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. The partnership with the Olympic committee will start at the upcoming Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer in February, while it has already begun with the Paralympic committee at the IPC Athletics World Championships in Qatar last month. Joma added that it would develop a range of licensed COP products for the Portuguese market. The company sponsors other Olympic Committees, led by Spain and Mexico.
