Jonathan Ram, whose career included a stint of more than four years as managing director of New Balance for the EMEA region in 2007-2012, has been elected as chairman of the SFIA, the Sports & Fitness Industry Association of the U.S. He worked for New Balance in various roles between 2003 and 2015 before serving since 2018 in his current position as group president for global activewear at Hanesbrands, the parent company of Champion. At the SFIA, he takes the place of Dan Arment, CEO of Riddell.
