Kappa’s first U.S. Ski & Snowboard collection has hit the brand’s stores and related online outlets. The range – the activewear version of the race outfits worn by the athletes on the U.S. team – comprises a ski jacket and pants, a fleece sweater, an ultra-light down jacket, a heat-sealed windproof, waterproof down jacket, a cotton T-shirt, a tracksuit, a visor hat, and a wool hat. U.S. Ski & Snowboard, based in Park City, Utah, is the Olympic national governing body of ski and snowboard sports in the U.S. Kappa announced its 10-year partnership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard on May 10 of this year. For the first time, a single outerwear and racing suit brand is appearing on the uniforms of the winter sports teams (alpine skiing, snowboard, freestyle, freeskiing and cross country), according to Kappa. The brand is owned by Turin-based BasicNet, an Italian company that also controls Robe di Kappa, Jesus Jeans, K-Way, Superga, Sabelt, Briko and Sebago.
