Karl-Heinz Müller, the founder of the Bread & Butter show, has canceled the L.O.C.K. trade show that was scheduled to take place on Jan. 15-17, 2019, at the former Tempelhof airport in Berlin. In a statement, Müller says that there were uncertainties surrounding the rental of the airport's Hangar 7 and that there was no long-term prospects. Müller aims instead to create another meeting point for suppliers and retailers. Zalando has acquired the rights to the Bread & Butter brand name and developed a consumer trade show that takes place in Berlin on a regular basis. Müller currently manages the 14oz store in Berlin, where he sells premium heritage brands.
