Karstadt is reportedly asking again suppliers to stretch payment terms, waiting for 30 more days than usual. Quoting a company spokesman, Textilwirtschaft says the German retail group doesn't have any liquidity problems, however. The management has already reported that its Christmas sales had been relatively good.
