Kelme concluded a successful business year in 2010, with a 35 percent increase in sales to €12 million. The company company would like to increase sales by another 30 percent this year to a total of €16 million. In the first quarter of 2011, total sales were about €4 million. As part of its international expansion, the company finalized new cooperation deals with retailers in Portugal, Brazil and the U.S. in the first half of this year. The company is also aiming to find new distributors in China, Indonesia, Taiwan and India. Additionally, Kelme is promoting the brand's diversification outside football. It is launching a new line of running shoes for the spring/summer 2012 season. Kelme has also introduced a new product line for the paddle tennis segment, comprising shoes and clothing. More fashionable products have been introduced for the current season, and the Spanish company is marketing heavily its new co-branded line of Michelin shoes.
