Kelme opened its first mono-brand store in Delhi this week, teaming up with an Indian distributor, Global Overseas. The company intends to rapidly open another seven such stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore. This comes as international markets are fueling the expansion of the Spanish sports brand, which reportedly lifted its sales by about 30 percent to nearly €14 million last year. About 60 percent of this turnover came from outside Spain, with the largest growth markets for Kelme including the United States, Brazil, Japan and Russia.
