Nike and basketball star Kevin Durant have agreed to a lifetime contract. Durant is just the third NBA player to land a lifetime deal with Nike, following both Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Durant’s relationship with the American sportswear giant dates back to 2007. The 34-year-old player has released 15 different sets of shoes with the brand, and a 16th is coming soon. The lifetime contract will continue to include shoes and other apparel, as well as community and philanthropic collaboration focused on grassroots basketball. Durant currently plays with the Phoenix Suns, which he joined in a midseason trade with the Brooklyn Nets.
