The Utah-based brand Kizik and its parent company, HandsFree Labs Inc., have announced the closing of a $20 million Series B funding round. According to a company statement, Kizik will use the funds to launch a Kizik childern’s line and build up a retail network of Kizik stores. The funding round was led by The Newcastle Network, a consumer-focused private equity fund combining expertise in data science, creator and social media marketing, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

In 2019, HandsFree Labs entered into an intellectual property licensing partnership for FlyEase laceless shoes with Nike. The previous financing round, held in 2021, generated $3 million for Kizik. The chairman and founder of the company is Mike Pratt, who founded Ogio International as well.
