KMD Brands Chief Financial Officer Chris Kinraid has announced his resignation, effective December 2023, after nine years with the group to take a position as Chief Executive Officer at Hallenstein Glasson Holdings, an Auckland, New Zealand-based men’s and women’s fashion retailer also listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange, with 72 stores in the country. Kinraid worked at KMD as Group Financial Controller at Kathmandu until he took on the role of Group CFO in 2019. KMD Brands Group CEO and Managing Director Michael Daly said, “We thank Chris for his significant contribution to the Group, including his role in the growth of the Kathmandu brand and, more recently, the acquisitions of the Oboz and Rip Curl brands.” Kinraid will serve as the group’s CFO until the end of the calendar year. KMD Brands has already begun the search for a successor. KMD is the parent company of Kathmandu, Rip Curl and Oboz.
