Koroyd, a Monaco-based company offering an advanced impact protection technology, announced significant strategic growth developments across the company, including a move to an expanded headquarters, new hires across the business, a complete relaunch of its brand identity and messaging, and category growth in key markets.
Over the past 18 months, Koroyd has doubled its team of innovators, engineers and developers and opened a new state-of-the-art research and development lab at Koroyd’s expanded headquarters in Monaco. In addition, a recently established satellite office in the U.S. supports marketing, communications and brand partner relationships on a global scale.
New additions to the Koroyd team in Monaco include Nick Tanner, Senior Product Design Engineer, who brings more than 25 years of experience developing products from concept to consumer delivery in a variety of sectors, including medical, fast-moving consumer goods, food, defense and transportation. Catherine Matje was also recently appointed as Research and Development Engineer.

Koroyd’s goal is to continuously increase awareness and adoption of its technology in markets. This is underscored by the new brand identity and key messages on the redesigned koroyd.com website, which highlight the technical features and benefits of “crumple, absorb and protect” while creating a stronger bond with brand partners and consumers.
Koroyd says its impact protection technology has already established itself in cycling and snow sports and is seeing increasing growth in motorsports. Koroyd continues to expand in the industrial sector with recently launched products from General Electric and Studson, as well as other notable brand partners to be announced by 2023.
“With over 100 awards and distinctions and 53 granted patents to its name, the expanded investment into experienced teams, new R&D lab capabilities and consumer-focused marketing set the next benchmark for Koroyd’s continued growth in advanced protection systems,” commented John Lloyd, Koroyd’s founder and Managing Director. “We’re proud of the products we’ve developed to date – rooted in lab testing and backed by scientifically proven results – and excited to share Koroyd’s next phase of innovation with the world.”
