Lacoste has teamed up with Minecraft on a new apparel collection for spring/summer 2022. The Lacoste x Minecraft collaboration was officially launched at the ESpot, a gaming venue in Paris’ iconic Rue de Rivoli, on March 12, in the presence of gaming personalities including Atomicari, Shubble, Smajor and Broky Brawks. The event was also streamed live on Twitch. The collection comprises typical pieces from the brand (printed polo, monochrome sweatshirt, cap featuring a big crocodile) as well as more sportswear elements (logoed sports bras and tapered leggings). The Lacoste crocodile has been redesigned and pixelated by Minecraft Creative Studio while iconic quotes from both brands around the notion of play are featured on the collection’s key items.
