Lacoste has promoted Catherine Spindler, currently chief brand officer, to deputy chief executive officer. In her new role, her mission will be “to continue the premiumization of the iconic French brand at the crossroads of fashion and sport and to strengthen its distinctiveness and the consistency of its expression in all its markets and distribution channels,” the brand said.
Spindler began her career at Guerlain with the LVMH luxury conglomerate. In 2001, she joined the Rocher Group, where she held various communication and marketing positions and managed the expansion of the Yves Rocher brand in Asia. Also within Rocher, in 2008, she became vice-president and member of the executive committee of the Dr. Pierre Ricaud beauty brand. In 2014, she joined the Veepee Group (formerly Vente-Privée), where she held the positions of chief marketing officer, then managing director for France and finally vice president of group customer experience. In 2019, she joined Lacoste as executive vice president for marketing and branding before she was appointed chief brand officer in 2021.
