Lafuma reports an almost imperceptible sales increase of 0.4 percent to €46.7 million for the 1st quarter ended Dec. 31. Three of its four business units saw no change in revenues, while the Oxbow brand went up by 7.6 percent. Sales of Lafuma branded products were affected slightly by a 1.5 percent drop in special orders for seasonal reasons. In total, orders were up by 2 percent for the group. While the generalist sports retail channel has been suffering from slow growth, the technical specialists have been more dynamic. The Lafuma group’s own stores saw their revenues grow by 18 percent in the period. Its 1-year-old online store also had strong sales.
