Lars Svendsen has sold Svendsen Sport and D.A.M. Tackle to Maj Invest, a Danish private equity and asset management group, for 500 million Danish kroner (€66.9m-$76.0m). Svendsen has invested 40 million kroner (€5.4m-$6.1m) to secure a 15 percent stake in the company and will remain as managing director of Svendsen Sport. As for D.A.M., it has reportedly announced that there will be no change of management at the German tackle manufacturer.
