Le Coq Sportif has inaugurated its first international flagship store in Milan. The 240-square-meter shop, on two floors, is located on Via Dante, a pedestrian shopping street in the heart of the city. Until now the brand has concentrated its retail development on the French market, with the opening of a flagship store in Paris in 2010. It also has shops in Strasbourg, Bayonne, Aix-en-Provence, Lyon, Lille and Marseille, adding to seven outlet stores. The brand is already present at the international level via its partners with 27 concept stores in Russia, Argentina and South Africa, and is about to enter the Brazilian market. Other openings are due to take place in London and Barcelona.
