Leader Sport Trading has opened the biggest multi-brand and multi-sport stores in Abu Dhabi and Qatar, based on a new store concept that it wants to roll out across the Gulf states, competing with the likes of Intersport, Go Sport and Sports Direct. Spanning over 3,000 square meters and hosting major brands including Adidas and Asics, its first store is located in the Dalma Mall of Abu Dhabi. The second one, which measures 1,200 m², is in Qatar's Ezdan Mall. Three more stores are planning for this year. Leader Sport is one of the major wholesalers in the sector in the Middle East. Servicing more than 200 retail stores in the region, it has exclusive distribution deals with Joma, Mizuno, Peak Sports, Johnson Health Tech and others. It is looking for new contracts.
