Medef (Mouvement des Entreprises de France), the leading network of entrepreneurs in the country, has appointed Fabien Gilot as co-president of the organization’s committee for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Gilot will join forces with Dominique Carlac’h, who was already at the committee’s helm and will now share responsibilities with him. The committee is made up of around 50 members. Gilot, 39, is an Olympic and world champion swimmer and the former captain of the French swimming team. He has been president of the Athlete’s Commission of the French National Olympic Committee (CNOSF) since 2018. He is also a member of the Organizing Committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
