The French Government has launched https://france.sport, a new portal dedicated to high-level sports in France, defined as “la maison numérique du sport de haut niveau” (the digital house of high-level sports). The new digital platform is fully funded by the Ministry of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games through the collaborative Sport Data Hub (SDH) system, which is supported by the Ministry itself with INSEP (the National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance) and Agence Nationale du Sport.

The new portal is meant as a single reference for all the actors involved in high-level sports in France, including athletes, coaches, decision-makers, and researchers. France.Sport is also accessible via a mobile application that will be initially reserved for high-level athletes. The final objective is to allow access to resources and personalized services adapted to different users.

The creation of the portal was announced in July 2023 by Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, at the time Minister of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, who now has additional responsibilities that also cover, alongside sports, national education and youth in the new government of Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.
