Chinese e-tailer JD.com has announced that it has won an antimonopoly lawsuit against Alibaba Group, Reuters reported.

According to the High People’s Court of Beijing, Tmall, Alibaba’s brand platform, abused its market dominance and adopted monopolistic practices known as “choose one from two,” causing JD.com serious damage. Alibaba Group Holding has been fined 1 billion yuan (€128m). JD.com called the ruling “a landmark moment in upholding market fairness and competition order through the rule of law” as well as “a significant moment in China’s anti-monopoly legal process.”

Alibaba said that they were aware of the ruling and “respect the court’s decision,” Reuters said.
