The 2nd Paralympic Day was held at Place de la République in Paris on Oct. 8, on the eve of the opening of the ticket sales for the 2024 Paralympic Games. The event, which saw the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron, was co-organized by the Paris 2024 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the French Ministry of Sport, the French Paralympic and Sports Committee (CPSF) and the City of Paris. Place de la République was transformed into an open-air playground, bringing together nearly 100 Olympic and Paralympic athletes and tens of thousands of spectators. The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will be held from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8, 2024.
