The Russian Football Federation (Rossijski Futbolny Sojus) has appealed the suspensions of Russian national teams and clubs from all FIFA and UEFA competitions over the invasion of Ukraine. The federation is asking the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to lift the suspensions to allow Russia to take part in the 2022 World Cup playoffs against Poland, which should have taken place on March 24.
