Fair Work Ombudsman Australia (FWO) last week filed legal proceedings against the retail group over a previously disclosed issue related to overtime pay for its store set-up and renovation teams. The retailer self-reported the matter to the FWO in 2018, subsequently apologizing to the impacted employees and establishing a remediation process. Current and former Super Retail Group employees have been paid more than A$52.7 million (€33.8m) in entitlements and interest since then. The retailer, which has also changed its processes to fix the pay issue, says it will review proceedings and continue to engage with the FWO on the matter.
