Athalonz, LLC, a company that distributes golf and baseball shoes, has filed suit against Under Armour in the East Texas District Court, accusing the company of infringing patents on its Hovr, Curry 4 FloTro and Harper 7 models for specially shaped midsoles with variable foam density designed to provide wearers with a more stable athletic base. The plaintiff seeks a declaration of patent infringement, a permanent injunction, damages and attorneys’ fees.
